10.02.2026
In 2027 the Belarusian police will celebrate the 110th anniversary of its founding. Two monuments will be erected in Brest to mark the anniversary. The first will be at the railway station. The sculpture is planned to feature the figures of a policeman, a railway worker, and a soldier who defended the Brest railway station side by side in 1941. The second monument will be dedicated to the soldiers of the 132nd Separate Battalion of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs escort troops who participated in the defense of the Brest Fortress at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
