There will be more practice-oriented programmes in educational institutions
11.02.2026
The development of the education system for the next
five years includes an increase in the share of practice-oriented educational
programmes at universities and colleges. Today the country's economy needs
young specialists who will have not only knowledge but also practical skills.
For example, an experimental dual training programme has been launched at
Polotsk State University and Naftan OJSC. At the same time, the role of
regional universities is changing significantly. Six scientific and technical
programmes have been launched for the first time. They will turn regional
universities into the main innovation platforms for local enterprises. Quality
education is one of the priorities of the country's socioeconomic development
program for the next five years. The key goals for the industry have been
defined by the state programme "Belarus Intellectual".
