The Union Council of Ministers' High-Level Group held a meeting in Minsk
Unlocking Belarusian SIM cards immediately upon entering Russia will be available by the end of the year. Belarusians will no longer have to wait 24 hours to access internet roaming in Russia. This was announced by the Belarusian Ministry of Communications following a meeting of the Union Council of Ministers' High-Level Group held in Minsk. The agenda of today's meeting also included developing guidelines for implementing the key provisions of the Treaty establishing the Union State until 2029. The parties also discussed granting goods from the two countries the status of Union State products. A decision has already been made to establish a Union State standardization and quality committee. It is expected to begin operations next year.
