The Supreme Court has taken special control of crimes against childhood

The number of crimes against the sexual integrity of minors has been decreasing in Belarus over the past three years. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Sergey Kondratiev. Nevertheless, on the instructions of the President, the Supreme Court examined the judicial practice of considering criminal cases of crimes of this category. As a result, a number of issues in the application of legislation have been identified that require clarification at the level of the Plenum of the Supreme Court. Today, the most relevant and controversial issues were discussed with the participation of the judges. For example, problematic issues in the qualification of the deed. Solving problematic issues in the legislation will help to issue fair court rulings.
