The peacekeeping mission of Belarus: Russian servicemen flew home after exchange and treatment
19.02.2026
Belarus continues to consistently carry out its peacekeeping mission (both in the interests of Russia and Ukraine) upon the return of military personnel to their homeland. Earlier, a group of Russian military personnel was brought from Ukraine to Belarus. Taking into account their state of health, on the direct instructions of the President of Belarus, the military were immediately placed in a medical facility in the Gomel Oblast. All conditions for their treatment and recovery have been created here, from initial examination to rehabilitation procedures. After receiving all the necessary medical care, the servicemen went home. Belarus is still ready to provide its platform within the framework of humanitarian missions.
