The new Belarusian Ambassador to Russia was introduced in Moscow

The official introduction of the new head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Russia took place at the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow. Yuri Seliverstov was appointed to this post by the President of Belarus on 22 January. The President set the ambassador's main tasks as cooperating with Russian regions and overseeing the main areas of our activities in the Russian Federation, primarily in trade. Yuri Seliverstov will also serve as Belarus's representative in integration structures and has been granted the powers of Deputy Prime Minister.
