The first open hunting biathlon championship was held in Belarus

Nine teams from across the country participated. Each had to demonstrate accuracy, endurance, and true team spirit. Hunting biathlon combined athletic passion and professional skill. The main difference between this type of biathlon and traditional biathlon is the rules. Instead of rifles, hunting rifles were used, and professional hunters took to the track. This applied sport is as close to hunting conditions as possible. The Moscow team won the competition.
