The final two new Minsk metro trains have been tested in the Moscow region
The Belarusian customer is testing all systems of the new trains before their delivery to Minsk. The cars are equipped with wide doorways with an anti-pinch system. Passengers can move from car to car without exiting onto the platform. The seats are made of soft, vandal-resistant fabric. The handrails have a "warm" coating. The cars are equipped with special climate control systems with air purification and deodorization, and video surveillance is also available. The trains have reliable noise and heat insulation. Belarusian components were also used, including windshield wipers, lighting, and shock absorbers to stabilize the car from shaking and pitching. The exterior features a unique design and the signature colors of the Minsk Metro. The new trains will begin operating on the Avtozavodskaya Line in December.
