The exhibition "Words also fought" has opened at the Mogilev Glory Museum
The exhibition features Soviet printed propaganda materials that were produced during the Great Patriotic War. These are flyers, newspapers, brochures. All the presented materials are from the private collection of A. Makeichik. The Minsk resident has been collecting them for more than 10 years. During the Great Patriotic War, propaganda was called the "third front." In 1941-1945, she formed a new concept, the purpose of which was to rally the people against the enemy. Soviet posters called on people to speak out against fascism. In vivid images, they showed the horror of the war and the inhumanity of the enemy. The propaganda activities of the underground partisan press in the occupied territory of Belarus raised the spirits of soldiers and partisans, mobilized the civilian population to fight the enemy.
