The deputies adopted a bill on the settlement of pension issues for civil servants

Restrictions on long-service pensions will be lifted for civil servants. The deputies adopted amendments to the laws on pension provision in two readings. The innovations will start working on 1 January. They are designed to increase the interest of civil servants in continuing their work in order to use their professional skills more effectively in the country's economy. Since this year, a decree has already been in effect, according to which all working Belarusians of retirement age receive social benefits in full. As a result, 27.000 people remained at their jobs during this time. This principle will also apply to civil servants now. A total of 484.000 people are currently working in Belarus, who receive labor pensions.
