The Defense Ministers of Belarus and Russia held a meeting in Almaty

Cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the military sphere is of a strategic nature, so the forum of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS countries in Kazakhstan is another reason to meet and compare notes on relevant areas of cooperation. This was announced at a meeting of the heads of the military departments of the two countries, Viktor Khrenin and Andrei Belousov. It should be recalled that on 15 October, during a meeting of the joint board of the Ministries of Defense of Belarus and Russia, the results of activities over the past year were summed up, promising areas of cooperation were identified and tasks in the field of security were set. After the meeting, Viktor Khrenin and representatives of the Belarusian delegation took part in a wreath-laying and flower-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame in the Park named after 28 Panfilov Guards.
