The club "Young Rescuer OSVOD" has opened in Minsk gymnasium No. 42 named after Zh.I. Alferov. 15 people joined it — students from the seventh to the eleventh grade. The participants took a solemn oath and received certificates. This is the third club in the capital. OSVOD is actively working to educate children. The campaign "One day with the OSVOD" is being held, in which schoolchildren get acquainted with all the subtleties of a lifeguard's work on the water. Clubs are created with the aim of teaching children how to swim, the basics of safety near reservoirs and involving them in preventive work to prevent the death of children on the waters, holding joint events with educational institutions.
