The broadcasting of the international satellite Belarus 24 TV channel is organized in Antarctica

For the first time in the history of Belarusian Antarctic expeditions. The broadcasting of the international satellite TV channel Belarus 24 is organized in Antarctica. This was made possible by the station's key life support systems, including satellite communications. The expedition participants note that this event is an important psychological support factor for the entire team. On 6 November the 18th Belarusian Antarctic Expedition began to carry out scientific research and other tasks. Starting from 1 May 2025 Belarus 24 TV channel will be available to more than 4 bln residents of East, Southeast, South Asia, Australia, East Africa and Antarctica via the EXPRESS-103 satellite.
