The Brest region hosted its first gastronomic festival dedicated to potato pancakes — draniki
21.10.2025
The first "Zhabinka's Dranik" gastronomic festival took place in the agro-town of Khmelevo. Guests were invited to visit the "Potato Museum", sample dishes from farmsteads, participate in a lucky draw, and see potato art pieces. The festival combined the best traditions of folk festivals, pride in one's homeland, and family recipes. For those unfamiliar with making draniki, a fun family relay race, the "Potato Drive", was prepared. The festival concluded with a concert featuring local creative groups.
