The Belarusian parliamentary delegation at the session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly
The Heads of the Parliaments of the Commonwealth countries are meeting in Dushanbe today to compare notes on the unification of legislation in the post-Soviet space and summarize the major projects overseen by the parliaments. On 13-14 November, the autumn session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will be held in the capital of Tajikistan. The Heads of Parliaments will discuss the Assembly's work plan for 2026 and the results of the events held this year. The 59th plenary session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will open on 14 November. Parliamentarians will consider a number of documents: model laws on pharmaceutical provision in the CIS countries, on limiting greenhouse gas emissions, on creative industries, on territorial defense and others. The Belarusian delegation is headed by Speaker of the Upper House Natalya Kochanova.
