The 151st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is taking place in Geneva

Minsk calls for realizing the potential of interparliamentary diplomacy in the fight against terrorism and illegal migration. The position of Belarus in Geneva was presented by Deputy of the House of Representatives Sergei Rachkov at a meeting on countering terrorism and violent extremism. He stressed that the solution to these problems cannot be achieved by force, such as building walls or forcible expulsion. The Deputy also noted the inadmissibility of any manifestations of racism and xenophobia against migrants.
