Severe frosts have replaced snowfall in Belarus

The snow cyclone is going away, but frosts are coming. Belarus is preparing for a cold snap. Already on 12 January Arctic air masses began to enter the country. Weather forecasters predict a further drop in temperature this week. On Tuesday night it will be -22 °C in places, and -15 °C in the afternoon. By Thursday the air temperature will drop to -30 °C in some areas at night. For January this weather pattern is from -7°C to -13 °C below the climatic norm.
