Restoration of historical and cultural heritage continues in Belarus
14.11.2025
There are more than 5.500 objects in the country included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values. These are monuments of architecture, archeology, art, as well as customs and traditions. In recent decades, extensive work has been carried out on the restoration of iconic objects: from the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Minsk to the famous palace and park ensembles in the regions of the country. Large-scale works are continuing in the Krevo, Novogrudok and Golshany castles, in the palace complexes in Pruzhany and Zhilichi, in the buildings of the National Art Museum, the Belarusian State Academy of Music and other facilities.
