Registration of medicines in the EAEU has become easier

Since the beginning of 2026, the registration process for medicines in Belarus and the Eurasian Economic Union has become simpler. A special scheme has been created for strategically important drugs: not only has the list of such drugs expanded, but the examination time has also been shortened, which allows medicines to appear in pharmacies faster. It is now easier for pharmaceutical companies to prepare documents for registration of strategically important drugs. In addition, according to the EAEU rules, if a drug has already been approved in one of the member states of the Union, its registration is automatically recognized in Belarus.
