The film "One for Two" will premiere at Minsk cinema "Moscow"
This is a hymn to the courage of those who remained true to their oath until the very last second. The film shows the tragic events of 19 May, 2021. The flight commander and pilot of the 116th Guards Attack Aviation Base, Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko, prevented a tragedy in Baranovichi. The plane Yak-130 crashed during a training flight. The pilots diverted the out-of-control military aircraft away from residential buildings, thereby preventing civilian casualties. By the decree of the Head of State the officers were posthumously awarded the title "Hero of Belarus". Those for whom this story is a personal source of pain and pride — their families, friends, and fellow soldiers — were invited to the film's premiere. Premiere screenings have already taken place in Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, and Mogilev.
