Palace of Republic ready for Belarusian People's Congress

Everything is ready at the Palace of the Republic to greet delegates and guests. The entrance is decorated with flags, posters with the laconic motto "Time has chosen us". The building has more than 300 lighting devices that create the ambience in the hall, with more than 20 km of cables that run behind the stage and connect all the content that will appear on the screens. The Seventh Belarusian People's Congress will begin at 14:00. For the first time, the forum will be held in a new status. A secret ballot will be organized for the election of the chairperson, deputy and Presidium of the Congress. For this purpose, nine voting platforms will be organized at the Palace of the Republic. The Small Hall will house the counting commission. The press center is ready to receive more than three hundred media representatives who have received accreditation to cover the events of the Congress. Journalists from the Belteleradiocompany's TV News Agency will be in the thick of events and discussions. Mobile television studios were set up to work on live broadcasts.
