On the eve of 8 March, military women were honored in Belarus

Belarusian Minister of Defense Viktor Khrenin congratulated the female military personnel who are involved in checking the level of combat and mobilization readiness of the army and are currently at the country's training grounds. A pleasant surprise for some of them was the early assignment of regular military ranks. About 4.000 women, from common to colonel, serve in the Armed Forces of Belarus today. Along with men, women stand up for the protection of peace and security of the country and participate in all combat training activities.
