Minsk approved new measure to support women at birth

Minsk women aged 18 to 25 years old, who became mothers in 2026, will be able to receive a lump sum payment. Payment is provided for each newborn. The amount of assistance is two budgets of the subsistence minimum. One of the mandatory conditions is permanent registration in the Belarusian capital. The new payment is an additional support measure. It does not replace or restrict the rights of a young mother to receive other State benefits and benefits, including a one-time allowance at the birth of a child.
