16.02.2026
One of the most delicious folk holidays is traditionally celebrated with crepes, songs, and round dances. Festive celebrations and fairs will be held in all regions of the country. Several locations will be set up in the capital to bid farewell to winter and welcome spring. For example, the folk festival dedicated to Maslenitsa will be held near the Sports Palace. Guests are also welcome at the Central Botanical Garden and the Belarusian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life. The week will conclude with Forgiveness Sunday. Maslenitsa will be followed by the Great Lent, which will last 40 days.
