Information security in Belarus: the number of personal data leaks decreased

Belarus ranks second in the CIS in the number of cyberattacks. Thefts from cards and e-wallets happen frequently. All of this has migrated to the digital environment. To protect personal data, a law has been passed and a national center established to regulate these issues. It gives results. Over the past three years the number of personal information leaks has decreased thanks to several factors. The country's personal data protection law is effectively implemented. Organizations and companies have begun to use security systems. Legal literacy among Belarusians has significantly improved.
