In December Belarus plans to launch a small satellite to monitor the Earth's ionosphere
Belarus, in cooperation with Russia, implements the Union State programme "Complex-SG". A grouping of small spacecraft for near-Earth space exploration is being created, as well as two small satellites for ionospheric exploration: from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Roscosmos, and another larger satellite, which is equipped with a multifunctional camera. It will be able not only to take pictures of the Earth, but also to track space debris. The direction is now relevant all over the world. Threats to the spacecrafts, including the ISS (International Space Station), are becoming more serious, which is why space monitoring systems are actively developing. Such a fully functional system exists in Russia and the USA. It is planned to make a fragment of it in Belarus by 2030.
