From May 1, wages of some categories of health workers changed in Belarus

Salaries have been increased for a number of medical workers, including for work in rural areas. Thus, the size of the bonus for paramedics of mobile ambulance teams who work independently has been increased from 110% to 160% of the salary. Additional payments for work in rural areas accounts from 20% to 40% of the base rate for health workers at rural health posts, general practitioners in outpatient clinics, district hospitals, and nursing hospitals. Payment increases occur on an ongoing basis in the health care system, usually twice a year for various categories of health workers.
