Delegates of Belarusian People's Congress

1,165 people were elected delegates to the Belarusian People's Congress. An important trend this year is party membership. 158 delegates represent the "Belaya Rus'" party. There are also representatives of the communist, liberal democratic and republican parties of labor and justice. 400 delegates were elected from civil society. Importantly, gender balance is maintained. The Congress is nearly evenly consists of women and men. By the way, the youngest delegate is 18 years old, and the oldest is almost 80. As for the fields of activity, the majority represent industry, transport and construction. Over a hundred delegates earned state awards during their careers.
