Belarusian tourists are waiting for flights from the Middle East
03.03.2026
More than 3.000 Belarusians having their vacations in the Middle East have purchased travel packages through travel agencies. There are over 2.500 such travelers in the United Arab Emirates, 319 in Oman, and approximately 200 in Qatar. The National Tourism Agency urges all Belarusians currently in the UAE, Qatar, and Oman to remain in a safe place, such as a hotel or apartment, and to strictly comply with local authorities' instructions to ensure their personal safety. Israeli aviation authorities have extended the flight ban over the country until 6 March. As a result, Belavia is forced to cancel its scheduled flight to Tel Aviv on Thursday, 5 March. The skies over Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain are partially closed to flights. The Emirates have resumed limited airport operations.
