Belarusian radio is preparing to mark its 100th anniversary

This week, Belarusian Radio will celebrate a landmark date — the 100th anniversary of the grand opening of the broadcasting radiotelephone station in Minsk. On 15 November, 1925, the words "Yvaha! Gavoryts Minsk!" ("Attention! Minsk speaks!") were heard for the first time. More than 1.5 mln people listen to radio in Belarus every week. For 100 years, it has gone from on-air broadcasts to modern multimedia formats, maintaining the trust of the audience. Today, it is actively developing in the digital direction, expanding thematic and regional broadcasting.
