An international scientific and practical conference was held at the Institute of Forest of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

One of the oldest scientific institutions in the country, which has made a significant contribution to the development of forestry science, ecology and sustainable environmental management, is celebrating its anniversary. The Institute of Forest of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is 95 years old. It is the only scientific research institution in the country that is purposefully working on the innovative development of forestry. The Institute is engaged in research on cultivation methods, forest health and sustainability, as well as the rational use of natural resources and ecology. Work is underway on projects within the framework of the Union State. An international conference was held in honor of the anniversary. The forum brought together about 150 participants from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Austria.
