On 27 January, the victims of the Holocaust are remembered all over the world. A tribute to the memory of the Jewish population who suffered during the Great Patriotic War was paid in Minsk at the Center for Progressive Judaism. The ceremony of lighting 6 candles of the Menorah of Remembrance was attended by those who survived the Holocaust as children, as well as representatives of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, Muslim and Jewish communities. The leaders of the faiths also lit a candle of Peace. Memorial Week in Belarus will bring together educational, cultural and memorial initiatives.
