The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko receives Happy New Year congratulations. Russian President Vladimir Putin was one of the first to send warm words to the Head of the Belarusian State. "Despite strong external pressure and restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Russia and Belarus worked closely and effectively on solving large-scale tasks of the bilateral agenda and were able to bring union integration to a qualitatively new level", the Russian leader said in his congratulations. Vladimir Putin is confident that the implementation of the provisions adopted after the meeting of the Supreme Union State Council will bring the legislation of the two countries as close as possible and will make it possible to move forward in creating a common economic space.
