Vehicle tax mechanism in Belarus to improve

Developing a new road tax paying mechanism at the parliament and government levels. Such an instruction was given by the President during a discussion of approaches to improving the procedure for collecting motor vehicle tax. There are 90 thousand kilometers of roads in Belarus, and over 10 years about 10 billion rubles have been invested in their repair and maintenance. The tax has been in effect for six years and causes complaints from the population. After all, both active motorists and those who use their cars infrequently have to pay the same. There are a number of proposals for improving the tax mechanism so that people are satisfied and good roads remain a Belarusian brand.
