Transport complex under sanctions
The President of Belarus heard a report on the work of the transport complex under sanctions. Transport complex brings almost half of the foreign exchange earnings from the export of services. Today, the industry is forced to work in new extreme conditions. Many supply chains are broken, which leads to increased production costs. The President noted that enough time had passed since the introduction of sanctions to look for ways to solve them. Some retaliatory measures have already been introduced. For example, the introduced ban on the movement of trucks from the EU through the territory of Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko orderede the Ministry of Transport to increase rail transportation, primarily in the eastern direction. It is also necessary to organize optimal logistics, including using port facilities, he said.
