Today is the third day of the official visit of the President of Belarus to Pakistan

Aleksandr Lukashenko met with General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan. It was a closed meeting. The President of Belarus also had an informal lunch with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The two leaders met at the family residence of Shehbaz Sharif in the resort town of Murree. Here the President of Belarus also met with members of his family, including former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. The day before, Aleksandr Lukashenko held official talks with Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. They focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with an emphasis on practical steps to develop trade and economic interaction. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shehbaz Sharif reviewed the most promising areas of cooperation and discussed a joint action plan.
