The work of the banking system was discussed with the President

The President heard a report on the work of the banking system and measures taken to support foreign trade activities. Those responsible for the state of affairs in the area were invited to the Palace of Independence. The head of state emphasized that the economy is the main priority and all financial activities should be subordinated to its interests. As the President noted, the National Bank basically fulfills its functions. In a difficult situation associated with pressure from Western states on Belarus, the economy is coping. The President also drew attention to the issue of assistance to business entities in making payments to foreign partners.
