The Presidents of Belarus and Russia had a telephone conversation that lasted about an hour. The day before, the leaders discussed the issues of Union building. Eurasian integration and work within the framework of the Belarusian presidency in the EAEU this year were also in the centre of attention. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings and joint events. Among them is the international forum in Volgograd to mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, which will be held in late April under the auspices of the Parliamentary Assembly. The EAEU summit is scheduled for the end of June in Minsk. The Heads of State dwelt separately on its agenda. The President of Russia also informed his Belarusian counterpart about the details of his recent conversation with US President Donald Trump, including on the Ukrainian issue.
