The Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly convened a meeting
Strengthening the role of district leaders, interaction with delegates and the composition of the Supreme Court. These issues are on the agenda of the session of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. People's elected representatives should work in this format at least once every six months. The task is to assess the key areas of the society's development and work out specific proposals. Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized the authority of heads of district executive committees in personnel matters. They also discussed interaction with the delegates of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly and the rules of procedure of the assembly. The Chairman of the Supreme Court presented his specialists. It is the competence of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly to determine the number of judges of the Supreme Court.
