26.09.2025
A new nuclear power plant may be built in the east of Belarus. This was stated by Aleksandr Lukashenko at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. If necessary the NPP will provide electricity to new regions of Russia.
It should be noted that Rosatom has already worked out options for further expansion of the nuclear energy sector in Belarus. It is the Russian state corporation that will help, if necessary, to build a new nuclear power plant in our country.
