The Presidents of Belarus and Russia addressed the participants of the Forum of Regions

The economy is the basis of any social processes. On the final day of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, the Presidents of the two countries addressed the participants. A. Lukashenko noted that today there are no obstacles for cooperation. Controversial issues, if they arise, are resolved promptly and constructively. And the contact is very close. This year alone, 16 visits of the heads of Russian regions to Belarus took place. Representatives of different spheres – politics, business, culture, science – participate in the development of solutions. This is effective people's diplomacy in action. The foundation is strong, and it opens up new perspectives. V. Putin noted in his address that it was the cooperation of the regions that became the heart of the integration processes within the framework of the Union State. The platform develops friendly, economic, and in general strategic interaction between countries. This year the Forum brought together over 1000 participants, more than 100 agreements and commercial contracts have already been signed.
