The President spoke at the SCO summit

Speaking at the SCO expanded meeting, Alexander Lukashenko voiced Belarus’ priorities within the framework of the organization. The President is convinced that the SCO can become a global organization and solve the problems of the world order in modern conditions. Belarus views the SCO as a platform for developing cooperation both in the economic sphere and in countering the threats of terrorism and extremism. Today, during the meeting, it was announced that the procedure for granting Belarus the status of a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has started. On the sidelines of the summit, Alexander Lukashenko held a series of international meetings.
