25.11.2025
Aleksandr Lukashenko held a meeting with State Secretary of the Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich, who, on behalf of the Head of State, communicated with the drivers of Lithuanian heavy trucks stuck in Belarus due to the closure of the border. The President expressed the opinion that the Lithuanian side is trying to put pressure on drivers, encouraging them to take a certain political position. However, the drivers are not responsible for the decisions of the Lithuanian authorities and are not to blame for the current situation. Aleksandr Lukashenko added that the conflict should be resolved through diplomatic channels.
