The President of Belarus will take part in the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State

On 25 February, Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Russia on a working visit. The Head of State will take part in a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Moscow today. Aleksandr Lukashenko is Chairman of the Supreme Council of State. The agenda of the upcoming event includes seven items related to issues of bilateral integration cooperation. The meeting will discuss the main directions of the implementation of the Treaty on the establishment of the Union State for 2024-2026, as well as the development of a draft of a similar document for 2027-2029. The key items on the agenda also relate to the organization of cross-border commuter passenger services, the creation of the Union State Committee for Standardization and Quality, mutual support for cooperation in the field of international justice, and the awarding of the Union State prizes in literature and art for 2025-2026.
