The President of Belarus paid a working visit to the Minsk Oblast

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is encouraging farmers to harvest 1 mln tonnes of rapeseed per year. On 8 August, the Head of State visited the Ozeritsky-Agro agricultural enterprise in the Minsk Oblast, where he inspected the harvesting campaign. There have been difficult weather conditions for winter rapeseed this year, but the harvest is expected to be decent. The President highly appreciated the work of farmers and recalled the health benefits of rapeseed oil. Aleksandr Lukashenko also instructed to increase the production of agricultural machinery, including an automatic press for harvesting rapeseed, in order to achieve technological independence.
