The President of Belarus met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia
26.10.2023
The fact that neither Belarus nor Russia are essentially closing themselves off from Europe was discussed at the meeting of Alexander Lukashenko with the Russian Foreign Minister. Sergei Lavrov is in Minsk to participate in a high-level international conference on the topic of Eurasian security. Under pressure from outside, Minsk and Moscow have strengthened cooperation, which is already bearing fruit - trade is growing, technological sovereignty is strengthening. While Europe is fencing itself off with the support of Washington, to its own detriment, we are thinking about development and security. Alexander Lukashenko intends to discuss a number of bilateral issues with Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation in the near future.
