The President of Belarus met with the Iranian Foreign Minister

Developing trade and economic relations is a priority in cooperation between Belarus and Iran. Aleksandr Lukashenko stated this during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The President noted that during such visits, the parties summarize certain achievements and outline future work plans. Belarus and Iran are already implementing a comprehensive cooperation roadmap for 2023-2026, and it is necessary to jointly plan the further development of relations. Trade turnover for January-October of this year amounted to $103.6 million. Belarusian exports are also steadily growing. In 2024, they will approach $100 million. Belarus supplies Iran with timber, synthetic fibers, and potash fertilizers. Vegetables, turbojet and turboprop engines, and gas turbines are also imported from Iran.
