Aleksandr Lukashenko held a meeting with Dmitry Mazepin, the head of the Russian Water Sports Federation. The Russian businessman often visits Belarus. He has Belarusian roots. Dmitry Mazepin was born in Minsk and graduated from the Suvorov Military School. He has been the head of Russia's new Water Sports Federation, which includes all water sports from swimming to water polo, for a year and a half. Prior to his appointment, he collaborated with Belarusian sports officials. The President warmly welcomed his compatriot. The two parties also discussed international cooperation in the potash industry. Dmitry Mazepin is a shareholder of Uralchem, one of the largest mineral fertilizer companies in the region.
