The President of Belarus met with the head of the Azerbaijani parliament
The countries are united by a common history and same values. On the eve of an important date for our country – the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders – Alexander Lukashenko noted the participation of Azerbaijanis in the battles for our republic. Symbolically, the visit of the distinguished guest began with the laying of a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk. The parliamentarians are focusing on the implementation of agreements between leaders Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev, reached during the state visit of the President of Belarus to Azerbaijan in May. Minsk and Baku are interested in deepening cooperation in the agricultural sector and industry, as well as in intensifying inter-parliamentary cooperation and within the framework of integration associations.
