Belarus is open to expanding cooperation with Myanmar, and in this process Minsk is guided by national interests, without regard to external players. The President of Belarus stated this at a meeting with the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Min Aung Hlaing. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, 2025 is a historic year in bilateral relations. The President also stressed that the Belarusian side has everything it needs to take Myanmar technologically one step higher.
